For Labor Day Weekend 2019, I embarked on a trip to Nashville, Tennessee with one of my favorite Humans Ever, Shanel Vazquez my AOII Little!

It had been so long since we saw each other so we booked this weekend trip and had the best time.

We had created an itinerary because we knew that there was so much to see and do and we wanted to make the most of our time there. Here it is for y’all to see:

We also stayed at the cutest AirBnB that I have ever stayed at. The Host was spectacular and even left us snacks + drinks to enjoy while we where there. Here’s the exact AirBnB if you ever need one for a trip to Nashville.

One thing that I realized about Nashville is that there are lines EVERYWHERE, especially for Brunch. We ended up going to Biscuit Love in Hillsboro Village and I would definitely recommend. It was sooo delicious! We went based off of a recommendation from another friend too.

We spent a lot of time exploring places such as the Farmers Market at Bicentennial Park & 12 South. We went to Music Row & Broadway at night and I was so incredibly surprised. Nashville was just as wild as the Vegas Strip and I didn’t not expect that AT ALL. It was so cool to see!

Sunday we spent more of the time exploring and catching some must-have pictures like at the What Lifts You Wings Mural—which yes, had a line. The area that it was located in was super chic + modern. In fact, it was so popular that we weren’t able to grab Brunch at Milk & Honey because there was an over two hour wait. We ended up going to another restaurant where I had some of the best Chicken & Waffles I have ever had.

Nashville was such a great city to explore for Labor Day Weekend. There was so much to do, the weather was wonderful—although a bit hot at times, we went to PUBLIX which was huge for me (I miss it so much. California needs to bring it!). It was so amazing to also reconnect my little. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. I loved being able to spend this time with her and see all of the amazing things she has accomplished so far.

I highly recommend Nashville as a city to visit either with friends or on your own!
